Amazon Prime Members Can Now Activate a FREE Dash Pass with DoorDash

Amazon Prime members in Canada can now score a complimentary DoorDash DashPass with just a few clicks! Here is now to do it.

How to activate free DashPass with Amazon Prime (Canada) – step-by-step

1. Make sure you have an active Amazon.ca Prime membership (sign in to Amazon to confirm).

2. On a desktop or mobile device, open the Amazon DashPass offer page: amazon.ca/doordash

3. Click “Claim offer” / “Activate DashPass” (button text may vary). Amazon will prompt you to sign in if you aren’t already

4. You’ll be taken to a DoorDash page that asks you to sign into your DoorDash account (or create one if you don’t have one). Sign in with the DoorDash account you want the DashPass applied to.

5. Give the required permissions/confirm the connection between your Amazon and DoorDash accounts (follow the on-screen prompts)

6. Confirm in the DoorDash app or at doordash.com that your DashPass status shows “Active (via Amazon Prime)”. You’re set!

Important notes while activating

• The offer is valid only for active Amazon.ca Prime members in Canada and only in cities where DoorDash/DashPass is available.

• If your Amazon Prime membership ends or is cancelled, the free DashPass provided through Prime will end immediately.

What happens if you already had DashPass when you activate it via Prime?

• If you already pay for DashPass on the DoorDash account you link, DoorDash will cancel your paid DashPass subscription and issue a prorated refund for the unused portion of your paid membership once you activate the free DashPass through Prime. (You keep DashPass benefits, but now through the Prime-provided subscription)

• Make sure you link the same DoorDash account that has the paid DashPass, if you already have a subscription to this

• $0 delivery fees on eligible DashPass merchants and qualifying orders – get fast food, coffee orders or even a grocery order brought right to your door!

• Reduced service fees on eligible orders

• 5% back in DoorDash credits on Pickup orders

• Family Sharing (share DashPass with one other adult at no extra cost — subject to availability/eligibility in Canada)

• Ability to order DoorDash restaurants directly through Amazon.ca/Amazon Shopping app (streamlined ordering for Prime members) – how cool is this??
