Fall wouldn’t be complete without pumpkins! They add colour and fun to our homes, fall decorations and, of course, Halloween.
We’ve rounded up farms in and around Edmonton offering pumpkin U-pick experiences and pumpkin patches this fall. Here are the locations we’ve confirmed for the 2026 season.

Edmonton Corn Maze offers a pumpkin patch. Pumpkins are sourced from partner farms, including a farm in Southern Alberta and Somerset Farm, and are sold at market prices. Pumpkin patch admission is included with general admission.

🎃 Somerset Pumpkin Farms

🎃 2026 Update: The pumpkin field is closed for picking this year because of the challenging growing conditions. Pumpkins are still available in the decorated pavilion area.

📍 Approx. 25 minutes north of Edmonton

🎃 Pumpkin experience: U-Pick + Pumpkin Patch
Prairie Gardens offers U-pick pumpkins, with pumpkins available from the field when conditions allow. As temperatures drop, pumpkins are brought indoors to heated greenhouse areas so families can continue choosing pumpkins later in the season.

🎃 Pumpkin experience: Indoor U-Pick + Pumpkin Patch
For 2026, pumpkin picking has moved inside the greenhouses because of repeated freezing nighttime temperatures. The farm has confirmed that there is no admission fee and that it is open daily from 10 AM–6 PM.
