The Edmonton Fire Rescue Services (EFRS) hosts annual Fire Station Open Houses and Tours to connect with Edmontonians and help educate the community about fire safety, emergency preparedness, firefighting equipment, and the important services they provide.
These open houses give families and residents a great opportunity to explore local fire stations, meet firefighters, learn important safety information, and gain a better understanding of how Edmonton’s fire rescue teams respond during emergencies.

Aside from the Fire Station Open Houses, Edmonton Fire Rescue Services also offers Ride-Along experiences for adults who are interested in learning more about the department or considering a future career in firefighting.
Participants can request and book a scheduled ride-along experience to observe and better understand the day-to-day responsibilities of Edmonton firefighters.
