What’s Offered
-  One-on-one homework help and tutoring for Grades 4–12
- Connects kids with volunteer tutors in subjects like math, English, science, social studies, biology, chemistry, and physics
Brainfuse HelpNow (Online Tutoring with a Library Card):
- Live tutors available for Grades 1–12 after school hours via the EPL library card service
- Includes real-time help and writing assistance
Solaro Learning Resources:
- Free independent learning tools for Grades 3–12 (videos, quizzes, lessons). Requires a library card to access online
When Tutoring Happens
DISCOVER Online Tutoring:
- Weekdays 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (and weekend blocks like 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. depending on event schedule)
Sessions are usually booked in advance online on the DISCOVER site
Brainfuse HelpNow:
- Daily support (online) in the afternoons and evenings (often 2 p.m.–11 p.m.)
Solaro:
- 24/7 access online once signed in with an EPL library card
Where It Happens
Online Access:
- Most tutoring is virtual — kids connect from home by using the DISCOVER platform or Brainfuse through the EPL website
Library Resources:
 Library branches across Edmonton support tutoring resources and help with access; kids can also get worksheets or use computers at branches
